About the Role
We are seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to support our residential and commercial property portfolio.
This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible, appointment-based scheduling. Work is assigned based on service requests, maintenance needs, and project scope, allowing you to accept jobs that fit your availability.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnose, repair, and service HVAC systems (AC units, air handlers, ductwork, thermostats)
Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
Handle service calls for tenant-occupied and vacant properties
Install or replace HVAC systems as needed (based on project scope)
Identify issues and recommend solutions to maintain system performance
Communicate job status, findings, and completion updates
Requirements
Valid HVAC license (State of Florida or applicable certification)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Proven experience in residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems
Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC units independently
Must have your own tools and equipment
EPA Certification (preferred/required depending on scope)
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
